CGAs case statement for this distinguished
Impressionist art museum in Connecticut helped raise the museums
profile in the art world, leveraged gifts far in excess of
the campaign goal and garnered awards from the New England
Museum Association and the American Association of Museums.

One of the challenges facing the Florence Griswold Museum
was its early twentieth-century namesake: What role could
Miss Griswold play in the museums future? CGA brought
her to the foreground imbuing the case with the personality
of this remarkable woman. Through words and images, we celebrated
the metamorphosis of Miss Griswolds home into the most
famous Impressionist art colony in America and later into
the museum. We charted the colonys relationship to the
town and the museums relationship with the nation and
the world.
The case statement consists of two brochures packaged in
a pocket folder: a four-color identity brochure (also sold
in the museums gift shop) and a two-color campaign-specific
brochure.
